Flinders Street Station 1972.This historical photo, taken from the National Mutual Building, shows the Sandridge Rail Bridge when it was carrying both the St Kilda and Port Melbourne broad- gauge lines.
Directly accross the Yarra River is the present site of Southbank.
In the middle foreground is the Melbourne Arts Centre before its spire was built.
On the extreme right is the now-demolished Prince Henry's Hospital.
